At the European Patchwork Meeting 2018, I met Suraya Rahmanova, a designer and embroiderer from Uzbekistan. She created these beautiful motifs.
Needless to say, I was thrilled to meet Angela Walters at the European Patchwork Meeting 2018! She is a quilter, encourager, author of many books about machine quilting and great teacher. I love her YouTube series, Midnight Quilt Show, and her classes on Craftsy.
I was honored to meet Danny Amazonas at the European Patchwork Meeting 2018. It was a great pleasure to chat with him and learn about his Freehand Patchwork technique.
From the Artist’s Collection is an exhibition including 8 quilts that were designed and constructed by Eric Wolfmeyer, a textile artist who creates beautiful abstract quilts. Production of each piece takes from three to six months to complete.
I was mesmerised by an exquisite hand quilting and applique of Dutch quiltmaker Henk van Kooten. He started making quilts and beautiful pieces of textile art almost three decades ago and developed his own style which is a combination of various techniques.
At the 24th European Patchwork Meeting I had a pleasure to meet Victoria Hillman, wildlife researcher and photographer. Victoria combines her experience as zoologist with passion for photography to create truly amazing pictures of wildlife.
