Legendary Quilts 10th edition – is a stunning collection of reproduction quilts made by members of France Patchwork association. Each and every quilt is a one of a kind masterpiece.

Each quilt is a reproduction of antique quilts from Europe, the United States, and Australia.

All of them are pieced, appliqued, embroidered and quilted entirely by hand. No sewing machines involved, only skilled and patient fingers of talented quilters.

The quilts don’t have to be exact reproductions of the originals, many of them are interpretations of antique guilts.

Quilters challenge themselves in finding fabrics that remind those used in original versions of the quilts as closely as possible. The patterns and colors of fabrics should be appropriate for the time the original quilts were made.

Quilters participating in the project used pictures of old quilts they could find in books or studied antique quilts in museums.
