I’m back!
Hi there!
It’s been a while since my last post. I’ve been quite busy lately working on my new collections and drawings for future embroidery designs.
Here is a list of the good things that I’ve done during the last month:
– finished three winter collections (40 designs) that will soon appear in the shop
– prepared documentation, wrote descriptions and shot photos for 5 collections (about 70 designs)
– made sketches for 3 new collections (16 designs)
– made drafts of instructions for appliques and pieced in-the-hoop quilt blocks
– made 10 origami projectss (I’m going to use them to make sketches for future embroidery designs)
– learned how to make watercolor effect in embroidery
– made my first miniature quilt using pieced in-the-hoop blocks (digitized by me, of course)
– introduced some important changes into my technique of piecing quilt blocks in-the-hoop
Little personal achievements:
– doing things that train my brain and also give me fun (like playing chess and doing Japanese crosswords) on regular basis
– following the same daily schedule (at least during morning hours)
– eating less and feeling better
That’s it for today. In my next posts, I will show you my new designs along with some insights of creating them.
Take care and be inspired!
Your Jo
