Hi there!

My name is Yana (call me Jo) and it is my very first post here, in the RunStitch blog! Welcome to the world of machine embroidery, quilting and sewing! It’s a wonderful place to be!

I’ve been sewing and embroidering since my childhood as my Mom was very creative person. In my teens, I bought my first sewing machine and started dreaming big – that one day I will be doing what I love fulltime.

Meanwhile, I studied architecture, engineering, design, and management in several countries, learned several languages, got married and travelled over two continents with my beloved husband.

Few years ago, I discovered a fascinating world of machine embroidery and quilting. Creating embroidery designs has become my hobby, passion and gradually – my favourite work. I’ve been dreaming about my own blog and shop for quite a while. And today is the day to start! After all, what can be better for a new beginning than the first day of the new-born year? I’m absolutely terrified and really excited to share all that I’ve learned over the years!
