Lots of Pieced In-The-Hoop Quilt Blocks
Hello, my loves!
I had really wonderful week. Made a bunch of pieced in-the-hoop quilt blocks for my new mini quilts. This week I played a lot with in-the-hoop projects and worked on documentation for my quilt blocks (yeah, it may sound boring, but I liked it, especially creating cutting tables for the quilt blocks).
I create embroidery designs for my quilt blocks in Wilcom and then piece them in-the-hoop using my embroidery machine. I digitized blocks of four sizes: 1.5, 2, 3, 4 inches.
Here are my beautiful pinwheels:
And stars (from the same blocks):
I like solids. They have this contemporary feel about them.
Trimming blocks is probably the most important part of all the process.
Vivid colors look really nice and modern next to shades of gray and beige.
Flying gees is one of my favorite blocks.
That’s it for today. Thanks for stopping by.
Love,
Jo
