Needless to say, I was thrilled to meet Angela Walters at the European Patchwork Meeting 2018! She is a quilter, encourager, author of many books about machine quilting and great teacher. I love her YouTube series, Midnight Quilt Show, and her classes on Craftsy.

Angela is always so encouraging and inspiring! And her approach is also very helpful: finished is better than perfect. Actually, this motto is hanging on my workshop wall and I try to follow it with all my might, and that could be quite challenging for a perfectionist, believe me.

It was really fun to see the quilts from her books and also those from the Midnight Quilt Show and have a chat with Angela. Her exhibition had a name From Grandpa’s Girl To Professional Quilter and each quilt was a great example of masterful and inventive machine quilting.
