24th European Patchwork Meeting 2018
Hi there!
Last week I was at 24th European Patchwork Meeting 2018 that took place in four beautiful sleepy French villages. There were 34 exhibitions in 21 different locations. It was such a wonderful and unforgettable experience!
I’ve met and had an opportunity to chat with some extraordinary artists, quilters, embroiderers and sewers whose works I admire: Angela Walters, Danny Amazonas, Rosemary Hillman, Marty Ornish, Henk Van Kosten, Eric Wolfmeyer, Eszter Bornemisza, Liz Maidment, and many others wonderful creative souls. I’ve also learned a lot about African quilts and Self Help Group Salama Mamas.
I’ve just returned home from European trip (after France we also travelled to Germany, Belgium, Luxemburg, and Austria) and started working on series of posts dedicated to the remarkable people that I’ve met and the event itself. I also want to share some useful information about locations where the exhibitions took place and some tips how to see more and not to get tired.
I’m definitely going to attend more exhibitions and events like this one in future and share my experiences with you. See you in my next posts!
Love, Jo
